A born and bred Methodist, Gary and his family have participated in Christian Ashrams since their children were young.  Gary has recently retired from many years of pastoral service but continues to serve in a variety of ways including working with United Christian Ashrams.  In addition to his pastoral service, Gary enjoys his life with Sybella, his wife of 40+ years. They both enjoy music, especially singing, and then pursue divergent interests: she loves to garden, and he relishes woodworking.  

Al Grimm is currently the Director of Information Systems at Bethany Home in Ripon, CA.  He spent 35 years in Pennsylvania and Connecticut as a United Methodist minister.  While serving as a pastor he also taught Bible and Computer Science at a private Christian school.  After retiring from church work in 2014, Al took the job at Bethany Home allowing his technology hobby to become his main focus of work.  Al lives in Stockton with his wife and best friend Pat and is active in the worship ministry at Holy Cross United Methodist Church.
